"But more importantly, what really holds me to Statheads, besides the fun it provides, is the friendships and rivalries that are formed. There is friendly bantering and also an exchange of ideas which makes those who participate feel they're part of making the rules, and upgrading the format.
"For sure my interest is fully nourished in the midst of great changes in approach and attitudes of today's game. The younger men give me new knowledge, new friends, and a new appreciation of baseball.

"Statheads is the ultimate fantasy baseball experience. Instead of playing head-to-head by the week or worse yet roto for the year, in this format you play DAILY matches against your opponents in 2 to 4 game series. That alone would pry me away from those other "mega" fantasy baseball sites. But then there's the customer service -- Statheads surpasses any other web site (not just fantasy baseball site) I have ever been on. If something needs to be taken care of, Tom (the Stathead) will handle it. My first year, there was an issue with a claim I made near the trading deadline, and while it was both fair and legal it caused some bad feelings. Tom suggested some alternatives to the commissioner of our league and we were able to get things resolved and everyone was happy. I would recommend this site to anyone wanting a "real" fantasy baseball experience."

"One of the best reasons to play the fantasy games offered by Statheads is that the players are allowed to help the site grow. League administrators are involved in the process of what can be done to make the games more entertaining and realistic. Questionnaires are sent to league administrators for their input on key issues that are being considered to improve the quality of the games. Discussions are allowed on a subject and they allowed to continue until all involved have had their say. It gives you the feeling that what you have to say is appreciated, and not just a survey on whether you enjoyed the game as other sites do.
"Another point is the customer service is unbeatable. Any question is answered or problem is resolved very quickly. You don't get an e-mail message saying you will be notified within 48 hours. You are usually notified within hours of your request. If you want to be treated as a person and not just a number, Statheads is the site for the true fantasy player. You won't be disappointed."
